Desperate to save her mom who seems to be more erratic, Lynnie runs away to find a doctor who specializes in the zombie virus, but she's caught and brought back home. 

 

With her mom's life on the line, Lynnie comes up with a plan to prove her mom is a zombie so she can get help, but she doesn't know her best friend's plot threatens to derail everything. In the end, Lynnie discovers a shocking secret that reveals the true nature of the world she's living in.
